Bukit Timah Saddle Club (BTSC) is the largest equestrian centre in Singapore, proudly maintaining its primary focus on show jumping and dressage. The club appeals to children and adults alike, and has something to offer all riders, be they expert or just starting out on the experience of learning to ride horses and ponies.

Conveniently located off Bukit Timah Road and the Pan-Island Expressway, it is just minutes from Orchard Road and Singapore’s CBD. The club’s location is easily accessible to the popular residential districts west of the city’s downtown area.

BTSC has gained the reputation as a centre for excellence for equestrian sport. Many riders at BTSC compete successfully at International Standards, proudly representing Singapore at the South East Asia Games, and at the CDI in Sydney. BTSC annually hosts the finals for Singapore‘s show jumping league, and inter-club competitions are a regular feature of the calendar throughout the year.

Inter-Club and in-house competitions offer riders the opportunity to compete in a wide range of classes, including dressage, show jumping, and gymkhana. Young riders also enjoy handy pony and fancy dress classes. Dressage is offered from preparatory level to Intermediate 1 and Prix St. Georges, and show jumping classes can range from “bottom hole” and equitation classes, to 130cm courses built to international standards.

Many first time visitors to BTSC are overwhelmed by the club’s environment, a lush tropical haven, a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. An outstanding location, with its abundance of birdlife and wide variety of trees and plants in their natural environment, also make BTSC a perfect destination for casual leisure riding.
