Why BTSC?

In addition to the extensive facilities which are described in the About Us section of our website, Bukit Timah Saddle Club operates the largest livery centre in Singapore. Our easily accessible location makes keeping your horse with us an obvious choice.

Our livery horses hail mainly from Europe and Australia, with many warmbloods from Denmark, Holland and Germany. There is also a strong contingent of off-the-track Thoroughbreds from the Singapore Turf Club, many of which were bred in Australia, in addition to sturdy ponies and show jumpers from the same continent.

BTSC has gained a reputation as a centre for excellence for equestrian sport and annually hosts the finals for Singapore‘s show jumping league, and BTSC riders compete successfully at International Standards, proudly representing Singapore at the South East Asia Games, and at the CDI in Sydney.

BTSC Inter-Club and in-house competitions are a regular feature of the calendar throughout the year,  and offer riders the opportunity to compete in a wide range of classes, including dressage, show jumping, and gymkhana, at levels to suit beginner riders to dressage at Intermediate 1 and 130cm show jumping.

It is possible to make arrangements for in-house and freelance instructors to give lessons, exercise or school your horse, for an additional charge. Please refer to information in the ‘Riding’ section of our website.

Our livery package is full service, which allows the luxury of horse ownership to many members in full-time employment. Many owners ride before work, freshening up in our showers before heading off to the office. With daylight stretching beyond 7.00pm daily, it is equally possible to ride in the early evening.
