Is your child curious about horses and ponies?

And have a love for nature, animals and outdoor activities?

 

Join Pony Club @ BTSC and learn about the different aspects of horse care and stable management with a group of like-minded friends.

WHO CAN JOIN?

  • Children aged 5 and above.

  • No riding experience required

  • Public & Non-BTSC members can participate

IN A SESSION & TERM

  • Four (4) topics per term

  • Six (6)/ Seven (7) weeks per term

  • Five (5) terms per calendar year​

  • Unmounted sessions (90 mins)

  • Mounted sessions (45 min horse riding + 45 min horse care)

WHAT IS A BADGE RALLY?

At the end of each term there is a ‘badge rally’ (in week 7/8).

 

This is a Pony Club class in which the children’s understanding of horse care and their practical skills are tested. If the children meet a certain standard, they will be awarded a Pony Club certificate for each unit/topic tested and will receive a badge for that unit. Our children like to sew their badges onto their Pony Club T shirts and wear them with pride!

*Badge rallies require the child to be registered with Pony Club (UK).
